Crannull was set up in 2010 to provide a Business2Business lead generation service with a core emphasis on quality, over quantity.

There has been a tendency for some phone based service to move overseas to reduce costs and move away from delivering a quality service, this is not what happens at Crannull.

The Directors are both very hands on within the business and understand that time is probably the most important commodity in business. If we all had more time, then we could conduct more business. Therefore, why send people to meetings where there will never be a chance to close. This is time that would be better spent focusing on other opportunities.

James Maguire

James most recent role prior to Crannull Consulting was Head of New Business within the leasing division of Europe’s largest motor dealer group, Pendragon PLC. Prior to Pendragon James held senior sales roles with ING Car Lease (Part of the Dutch bank ING) and Masterlease (Part of General Motors).

James delivered year on year success for his previous employers by constantly using and developing sales strategies to deliver proven results.

Having graduated in Business Studies in 1996 James was originally going to pursue a career in accountancy, however after taking a temporary sales job prior to travelling to Australia a natural ability in corporate sales was discovered. The temporary job turned permanent and travelling was put off for 2 years. After returning from travelling James accepted a position in the vehicle funding/fleet management industry where he was able to combine his financial and sales skills and embark on a fruitful and successful 11 years in the industry before leaving to set up Crannull Consulting Ltd in 2010.

Tom Fitzgerald

Prior to setting up Crannull, Tom spent several years in senior sales roles, including recruitment and construction labour hire. It was during these years Tom realised that the telephone was a sales professional’s best friend and developed a natural ability for creating opportunities and building relationships on the phone.

Having left school at 16, Tom went on to work at his father’s construction company, learning the fundamental skills of the construction industry and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Tom moved to Ireland in 2004 searching for a new challenge and was presented with an opportunity to join a construction recruitment company. This was new to him, but with his outgoing personality, knowledge of the construction industry and determination, he flourished in his new role.

Whilst working with all these organisations he spotted a trend and a missing link in their sales approach, providing the foundations for a new business – Crannull.
